Fusang Exchange - Private Launch

Dear reader, For those of you who have been kindly reading these letters over the past 2 years: thank you! I started writing these because I wanted to provide insight into my thinking and the ideas that I came across as we built Fusang. To provide perspective beyond the usual marketing material that plagues all our inboxes.

I find writing difficult, and have struggled many times to hit that Sunday deadline. But your kind words, comments, and support have made it all worthwhile.

This is the 71st letter – how time flies! Those of you who have been reading from the start will have seen the evolution of Fusang from an investment office serving some of the largest families and institutions across Asia, to a FinTech company building financial infrastructure for the cutting edge of digital assets.

In January this year we announced the reorganisation of Fusang into a FinTech company.

In April, we launched the Fusang Vault: the first pillar of our platform, providing custody and digital asset servicing to institutions, allowing them to access the asset class in a secure, compliant, and convenient way.

Today, I am proud to announce the Private Launch of the Fusang Exchange. This second pillar of our platform allows both individuals and institutions to trade digital assets on the first fully-regulated exchange in Asia. We are beginning first with trading US dollars, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. By Q4 this year, we will begin listing and trading Securities.

Invest into the Fusang Exchange

As we enter this next stage of our growth, I am excited to announce the launch of our first fundraising round for the Fusang Exchange. We wanted to wait until we had launched a working product before raising external capital – seemingly a rarity in our industry. This capital will allow us to continue to build out our platform and hire exceptional talent as we list our first IPOs. The Fusang Exchange itself will be listed on our platform next year.
